Summer living is such a unique and wonderful experience, especially if you have a cottage to visit. A bit simpler, and a lot slower than city life, even a quick weekend away can give us time to relax and enjoy the fresh air, fresh water and spend time with good friends and family.  This summer, I’m designing my brother’s cottage and am loving every minute of it. This cottage is going to be place for the whole family to get together and for happy memories to be made!

Even though everyone can enjoy the cottage at any age, there is something so special about being a kid at the cottage. The freedom, the friends and the games are all things I enjoyed from cottage visits from my childhood! While I am still in the design phase for my brother’s cottage and don’t have any photos yet, I wanted to share with you some of my inspiration for cottage bedrooms for kids.
