Colour and vibrancy give this home in Toronto's beaches neighborhood an energetic vibe. When the client's family legacy furniture piece was the starting point, it provided a challenge. But when it was discovered that the designer's grandfather's business had manufactured the desk (many years ago - yes, it's a Krug Bros. original!), you can be sure it was given special treatment! The piece needed a new context and an updated room setting. With a vibrant rug, and some stylish furniture, it now has an entirely new look.
